The Administrative Core is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Center. This includes fiscal management and resource development, marketing, coordination of all Cores, staffing, public relations, and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of Center initiatives.
The Statistics and Data Analysis Core provides leadership and guidance in the development and application of qualitative and quantative strategies of data analysis for basic and applied research. Support includes consultation for measurement selection, measurement refinement, sample size calculations, hypothesis testing, and referrals .
The Education/Training and Community Partnership Core is responsible for coordinating the Center’s brown bag discussion series, faculty exchange, speakers colloquium, and collaboration and partnership opportunities with community agencies.
The Dissemination Core provides assistance with manuscript preparation and submission of papers for publication and dissemination through professional conferences, meetings, and community forums. Assistance is provided with all phases of manuscript production from reviewing drafts to offering suggestions for journals and other channels for distributing information.
The Research Core provides assistance to facilitate collaborations in developing applications for university and external funding to support faculty research and scholarship. Assistance is available for developing ideas, mock reviews of applications, planning pilot projects, and preparing research proposals.
