Biography

Carlos graduated with an Advanced Clinical Master’s Degree from Temple University’s OT program.

His professional clinical experience includes serving as Department Mentor then as Clinical Team Leader for Moss Rehab’s neuro service. Before that he worked in Moss’ Drucker Brain Injury Center followed by a number of years in school-based practice with Austill’s Rehab.

Several years ago, Carlos took almost 3 years away from full-time clinical practice to apply his OT skills in the business world. He worked for a small IT consulting firm helping them develop and define who they are though a visioning process and subsequent application of their new vision in the non-profit world.

Carlos entered academics in 2007 taking the position of Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Professor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. During his time there, the student OT organization blossomed and gathered national attention by hosting national and international level speakers.

His interest in leadership and organizational dynamics has resulted in guest lecturing, teaching, and presenting AOTA and POTA workshops on a number of leadership and collaboration topics.

He looks forward to growing his work to even greater heights here at Temple University.
