Biography

Dr. Robert Gabriel completed by Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 1984 and a Masters of Business Administration also from Saint Louis University in 1987. He then received his Ph.D. in Pathokinesiology from New York University in 1992 with subsequent post-doctoral training in biomechanics at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo. He has extensive clinical experience in the areas of out-patient musculoskeletal and sports medicine care.

Dr. Gabriel has served as a faculty member at five different institutions while providing professional instruction to students in both entry-level and post-professional programs, as well as Ph.D. coursework. His areas of instruction have included biomechanics and kinesiology, human physiology, evaluation and management of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, and administrative issues in management. Dr. Gabriel has been actively involved in research in the areas of muscle physiology and performance, spinal modeling, and assessment of student performance.
