Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Doctor of Nursing Practice Overview
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program offer two concentrations: Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Family-Individual Across the Lifespan. Both concentrations prepare graduates to provide primary care to individuals. The student is prepared to provide direct primary care through participation in primary care specialty courses that emphasize health promotion and disease prevention. Core courses in the program prepare the graduate to provide primary care within the broader context in which individual clients exist, including family, community, and related environments.
