I have been a full time faculty in the Department of Nursing since 2005. Currently, I am the Chair of the Student Affairs Committee, Co- chair of the Task Force for Primary Health Care Curricular Design, and Student Advisor for the Student Nurse Association Pennsylvania. I am the Secretary for Kappa Chi, local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.

I am currently the course leader of Care of the Adult Care Clinical Practicum (N3187), Care of the Adult Care (N3141), Care of the Developing Family Course (N3244), and Care of the Developing Family Clinical Course (3287). I actively participate in clinical for Women’s Health and fundamental courses. Also I participate in the lab for the Fundamental and Health Assessment course.

Research
My research interest is in Women’s Health. I am currently working on a Nutrition Chapter focusing on Preconception, Pregnancy and Lactation, High Risk OB Chapter for a Nursing Textbook, and a grant for improvement of breastfeeding at Temple Hospital.
