It’s an exciting time in nursing, as recent changes have prompted the need for nurses to take a more pivotal role in the delivery of healthcare. 

Temple’s Department of Nursing is right in step with the educational needs of the current student nurse population, developing programs that will prepare you for the next generation of nursing.

We offer several degree programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice.  They are led by expert faculty in a variety of clinical areas who engage in evidence-based research and practice.  They are complemented by a practical program giving students direct experience in the health care of residents in our neighborhoods and surrounding communities.

The curriculum supports the needs of a changing health care delivery system and promotes nursing as a key role in primary health care, and the continuum of care from health promotion to disease management.
