Exercise & Sport Psychology Laboratory
The mission of the Exercise & Sport Psychology Lab is to study the behavioral and psychological aspects of exercise, sport, and performance in educational, health care, exercise, business, and community settings. This is accomplished through a combination of research, education and application. Within the context of the lab, graduate students develop research expertise and are trained to be good scientists by participating in mentored and independent research. Multidisciplinary teams of professionals and students collaborate on research projects for publication in scholarly and professional journals and presentation at conferences such as APA, AASP, and AAHPERD. The lab also offers applied services within Temple University and to the surrounding community.
