Youth Programs

Temple University's Center for Social Policy and Community Development operates three youth-focussed programs:

  • Youth Employment Project (funded by the Philadelphia Youth Network) for youth ages 16.5 to 21 years, and who have an interest in obtaining skills and employment related to Information Technology (IT) and Health Information Professions
  • GED to College (funded by Philadelphia Youth Network) for youth ages 16.5 to 21 years, and who have an interest in transitioning to post-secondary education and going to college or a university
  • Achieving Independence Center for youth aging out of the foster care system.  CSPCD provides educational support to help youth succeed academically -- to graduate from high school and enter post-secondary education.
