This emergency planning toolkit for organizations was created by the Office of Emergency Management.  This toolkit will help your organization prepare for an emergency, so that you are better able to continue services for clients keep your doors open following an emergency.

Continuity of Operations

This link provides information from FEMA on how to create and implement a continuity of operations plan.

NIMS Trainings

This link provides a list of National Incident Management System (NIMS) trainings on emergency preparedness.  NIMS is a national model for incident management which can be applied to local responses.

Incident Command System (ICS)

This link provides detailed information on ICS from FEMA.  ICS is an approach to incident management which provides organizational structure during an emergency.
