Nursing professor certified as Diplomate of Comprehensive Care
In November 2011, Michael Clark, DrNP, GNP-BC, CNL, DCC, an assistant professor in Temple’s Department of Nursing, passed a new certification exam to become a Diplomate of Comprehensive Care (DCC). This examination, launched by the American Board of Comprehensive Care, is modeled after the United States Medical Licensing Exam, which qualifies candidates for independent practice as licensed MDs. It can only be taken by graduates of Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs.
