Two students from the College of Health Professions and Social Work have been selected as Temple University Diamond Research Scholars for 2013.

Julieann Berg, a Kinesiology student, will be working on a project titled “The Facilitation of Locomotor Performance Through Music in Children,” under the mentorship of Casey Breslin, PhD, a professor in the Department Kinesiology.

Felicia Henry, a student in CHPSW’s School of Social Work, will be working on the project “Stopping the Cycle of Incarceration: What Makes a Program Successful?” under the guidance of Criminal Justice professor Nicole Van Cleave, PhD.

The Diamond Research Scholars program gives 25 undergraduate students the opportunity and funding to work with a faculty member on an independent research or creative project during the summer and fall semesters.
