The Center for Asian Health (CAH) at Temple University provides programs aimed at reducing the risk of cancer, detecting cancer as early as possible, and empowering Asian communities to collectively close gaps of health and cancer disparities in Asian communities. We welcome volunteers and provide a variety of opportunities for community lay people, undergraduate and graduate students to contribute to the various projects at our Center in Asian American communities. CAH volunteer experience offers exciting exposure and insight in Asian community field activities, survey administration, community education and outreach, program development as well as clinical experiences.
We are continually seeking committed and enthusiastic volunteers to assist with community participant recruitment, cancer screening event language assistance, research data collection and entry, and program material development.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Writing skills and fluency in English, Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean are preferred. If you are interested in gaining experiences at Center for Asian Health, please contact us.
